Transitioning from treatment to independent living can be brutal. We get it — we’ve walked it.
Here, you’ll land in a safe, clean environment where you can actually focus on recovery, backed by people who understand and hold you accountable.
Each home also offers practical conveniences—like laundry, supplies, and close access to bus stops, 12-step meetings, gyms, grocery stores, and places of worship—making it easier to stay connected to the community and focused on recovery. Beyond the basics, our homes are designed to foster a sense of comfort and belonging, giving residents the stability to focus on what matters most: staying sober and building a strong foundation for lasting change.
We are honored to maintain CCAPP Certification for our recovery residences, aligning our operations with the rigorous standards set by the California Consortium of Addiction Programs & Professionals (CCAPP). CCAPP is a leading authority in the field of addiction recovery and residential support—its certification ensures that residences meet stringent criteria in ethics, safety, continuity of care, and resident-focused operations.
We follow the standards set by the National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR) because quality and accountability matter. Our homes align with NARR’s nationally recognized best practices for safe, ethical, and supportive recovery housing, and we are committed to upholding those standards every day.
At Nellie's Way, our partnership with Riverside University Health System expands our reach and resources so we can better serve those in recovery with trustworthy care and support. Partnering with such a committed and respected organization supports our mission and broadens the resources we can offer our residents. We’re thankful for the chance to create a bigger impact together.

At Nellie’s Way, residents are expected to uphold a standard of responsibility and accountability. This includes maintaining the cleanliness of their personal living space and contributing to the upkeep of the house through a daily assigned chore. Residents are also required to attend a minimum of three recovery meetings per week to support their ongoing sobriety and personal growth, with the weekly house meeting counting as one of these required meetings.
Respecting curfew and quiet hours is an important part of maintaining a safe and supportive environment. Residents are responsible for purchasing and preparing their own meals. At Nellie’s Way, we foster a culture of mutual respect, responsibility, and productivity. By adhering to these expectations, you’ll be well-positioned to thrive in the structured and supportive community we provide.
Our certification and compliance reflect not only our dedication to excellence but also our commitment to providing a trustworthy, high-quality living environment for every resident. Being CCAPP certified and NARR compliant means we’re held to nationally recognized standards of safety, ethics, and accountability.
This ensures our homes are more than just a place to stay—they are safe, supportive environments designed to foster long-term recovery. Certification and compliance also require transparency, consistency, and adherence to a strong code of ethics, allowing residents and families to trust that the care and community they find here meet the highest standards in the field.
We do have private-pay options available, though details can vary depending on the house and room type.
